VEB.RF acquires 77.63% shares in CSKA football club
MOSCOW, Apr 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s VEB.RF has acquired a 77.63% stake in professional football club CSKA as part of converting the club’s debt, a spokesperson for VEB.RF said on Wednesday.
“VEB.RF state development corporation has closed a deal to acquire 77.63% shares of PFK CSKA as part of the club’s debt conversion. Thus, PFK CSKA debt obligations to the state corporation were fully repaid, and VEB.RF became the club’s main owner,” the statement said.
